FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Where are you located?
- My office is conveniently located in the historic
Newland Mansion building on the Northwest
side of Boulder, just north of Boulder Community Hospital (click
here for a map). At 3011 N. Broadway, the
Newland Mansion sits on the NW corner of Dellwood and
Broadway. Suite 34 is on the top floor, the last
door on the left. Come on up and enjoy a magazine
in the waiting area, or take care of any bathroom needs
in the restroom at the end of the hallway.
Where can I park?
- There are six spots available in the small lot on
the corner of Dellwood and Broadway. In addition,
there is parking along Dellwood and down 11th street
in either direction. At peak business hours for
the Mansion (weekdays 2-6pm), parking is at a premium. It
might be wise to allow for a few extra minutes, in
case parking down the street is the only available
option.
Why should I get a massage?
- To answer this question, I refer you to the Benefits
of Massage link on this website, where
you will find more than a few fabulous reasons
to treat yourself to a massage.
I have never had a massage before, and I don’t
know what to expect.
- When you arrive at my office we will talk about
your goals for the session. I will then leave the room
while you undress and get situated on the massage table,
between the sheets. Then, I will enter the room and
the massage will begin. Proper draping procedures are
followed during every session, for the safety and comfort
of both of us. When the massage is over, I will quietly
leave the room and you will have privacy to get dressed.
If at any time, before, during, or after the massage,
you have questions or concerns, please communicate
them to me, so that you can have a comfortable, enjoyable
experience.
What is your cancellation policy?
- If you need to cancel a massage, I require 24 hours
prior notice (except in emergency situations). This
increases the chance that I can get another client
booked into that spot and shows courtesy and respect
of my time.
